A watercolour study depicting Bucephalus, Alexander the Great's horse who was frightened of his own shadow.
The paints used for this work are granulating, which gives the background a lovely texture. It has been created using several layers of paint, in between each layer some colour has been lifted. It has a dark, moody quality.
This painting is 8" X 10" and is presented in a 10" X 12" ice-white mount, with a backing board in a clear polythene bag. It will fit a standard 10" X 12" frame.
