Another painting made outside on the coast of Brittany. I had seen a huge pile of rocks on the other side of the bay from where I had been camping, so I headed off round the coast path with all my gear. I climbed this granite rock with great difficulty and set up in the wind. Very treacherous but worth it for the birds eye view of the small fields and granite outcrops next to the sea. This painting seems to have a freshness and liveliness that was there on that rough coastline on the day it was painted.
