This is an abstract painting in oil & cold wax on wooden panel. There is a lot of texture and subtle color changes in the shapes due to the different transparent and opaque layers. I like to use subtle muted colors and therefore I experiment a lot with color schemes. Then I pick out a number of muted colors that I mixed from complementary colors. Sometimes I also add a bit of grey to a color. I think that muted colors can bring a work in balance, especially in abstract works.
The sides are painted in acrylic in a neutral grey.
I can paint it in any color of your choice.
