Artist's description:

Polychrome screenprint created via layering various inks over a halftone stencil screen. Due to the experimental approach to image making, no two prints are ever the same and for this reason the artwork is regarded as a monoprint.

The Pons Varoli or 'Bridge of Varolius' named after the Italian Anatomist and Physician Costanzo Varolio is a part of the brain which transmits signals from the brain, down to the Cerebellum and Medulla and up to the Thalamus. The Pons is implicated in sleep paralysis and is responsible for generating dreams.
