This oil painting is of waves breaking on the shore on the North West coast of Scotland; although it could be anywhere. I wanted to capture the raw energy of the water and impart something of the noise of pebbles being churned endlessly, sucked up and thrown down, over and over. Waves and their patterns fascinate me; they are everywhere in the universe, seen and unseen.
Framed in a white wooden frame, ready to hang.
