Breaking Free ~ A truly original (1/1) pinhole camera photograph
The ocean often driven by storms both adds and takes away. I like this long exposure pinhole camera photograph. It seems as though a section of shore has set out on a voyage. This image was made near The House of Refuge at Gilbert's Bar on Hutchinson Island in Stuart, FL
A one of a kind image as it is the actual 4x5 fibre base photographic paper used in the pinhole camera at the time of exposure. The paper has been carefully processed, washed and treated with selenium toner. There is only one available. Matting is 100% cotton 8 ply. Framing is black metal with premium anti-reflective Water White ArtGlass. Complete framed size is approximately 11.4x9.4x.75. Image created on Hutchinson Island in S. Fl 2010.
This is a small piece the actual print is the 4x5 paper used during exposure. Image is reversed from how one would view the scene. This is because the image is inverted in camera.
Direct positive fiber base photographic 4x5 paper treated with selenium toner. Bright White archival 8 ply 100% cotton mat. Framing is black metal premium anti-reflective Water White ArtGlass.
