At a young age I became completely enamored with dinosaurs. I can't quite put my finger on what it was exactly that drew me to them... Perhaps it was the 1993 release of Jurassic Park that ignited my inspiration. At 8 years old I dreamed of becoming a paleontologist, travelling the world searching rock formations for traces of ancient beings forever locked in their hidden tombs... It sounds like such an adventurous life! These daydreams of scientific pursuit translated into drawings where I tirelessly illustrated various creatures from Earth's past. I couldn't get enough!
Fast forward a couple decades and I now find myself, not a paleontologist, but an artist... And the tug of these ancient creatures still pull at my imagination... Maybe it's me trying to be a kid again, or is it that I really do need to fulfil this prehistoric yearning? Perhaps I will explore it further... :)
