Artist's description:

This piece was made using the ancient japanese technique called kimekomi. It makes possible to experiment all the "pictural" possibilities of the fabric.

I love the contrast of colors and shapes, patterns confronting others. I'm really inspired by organic shapes that we can find in growing plants or in the water.

All the fabrics are "tucked" together, there is no glue involved, they hold together very tightly in the geofoam matrix.
