Artwork description:

The 14th century quadrangular Bolton Castle looms large above the valley of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales and dominates the adjacent small hamlet of Castle Bolton which, of course, takes its name from the castle. The castle has never been sold and is still owned and lived in by the Scrope family, descendants of the original castle builder Richard, 1st Baron Scrope of Bolton. Painted in mixed media (pen. ink, ink wash, watercolour and oil pastel) on quality Bockingford 300gsm acid-free paper. The painting is supplied un-mounted and un-framed and will be sent in a postal tube. FREE POSTAGE FOR UK BUYERS. Postage rates include Royal Mail Tracked & Signed service and compensation cover.
