A boat on the River Arun... yesterday I spent a few hours doing a 'plain air' painting of the river at a beautiful spot in glorious weather but, for some reason the painting just didn't seem to work... this was painted quite quickly from a drawing which was taken from a photograph and seems to work better.. a bit like Adam let out of the Garden of Eden; sometimes weeds spring up; sometimes fruit..
