Original artwork description:

In both my abstracts and my landscapes I tend to to use sharp delineations between colours. Blurring, whilst a valuable technique, I tend not to do. Here I am attempting to combine geometric abstracts with rough blurring, for the fun of it... After a two-toneded first wash I played with oranges and pinks, then added the circles as I felt some definition was needed. This painting is unashamedly ornamental, intended to pass on the pleasure I get from experimenting with colours and textures.

Materials used:

Galeria acrylics on a Daler&Rowney canvas
