Serendipity is a good word, and think it can be applied to the close connection between the trees in bloom this year with the height of the bluebell splendour.
That is from a painters perspective. Does not happen that way every year, and to get the two at their height is in fact quite rare.
In this painting I combined the two, and I have enough reference materiel for more to come. This was painted in Ashridge which is an estate owned by the national Trust.
I have been a member for many years and I think they do very well in what is a difficult balancing act between keeping the right links between past and future.
Five out of five stars for the NT.
