In my experience, two of the things that you require to fully enjoy a walk in a bluebell-carpeted wood are a pair of red (of course) wellies and a kitchen to make cake in which is ready to eat on your return. Of course the main thing you need is that beautiful, short lived, time when the colour of the floor in the wood turns from greens and browns to the most spectacular range of blues, violets and purples as far as the eye can see.
I have loved painting this picture, which is an amalgamation of all the bluebell woody walks that I have taken over the years. Of course, the colours are deceptive - in amongst the blues and violets are pinks, greens, browns and reds.
Painted on board in acrylics, measuring 30cm square, this painting is sold varnished and unframed. I can, for no extra charge, fix a D ring to the back so it can be hung on the wall as it is (please let me know if this is what you would like), or you may prefer to have it framed to your taste after you have purchased it - I have included an imaginary picture of how it might look on a wall in a frame.
