NudesLimited edition print Paper Print
by Ryan Louder

Nudes is an original oil painting on canvas, 61 x 91 cm (24 x 36 inches), by London artist Ryan Louder. Two lovers in a deep blue field, held together by light.

Blue is the colour figures arrive in when they come from that half-asleep place, and this pair came in close. It is autobiographical the way nearly all my work is, something about being held when the world feels like it is dissolving at the edges. The blue does the work, everything cool and slow except the two of them glowing faintly in the middle. Some paintings are about colour and this is one of them, the whole story lives in the temperature of the blue.

Painted in my London studio. Carefully packaged and dispatched with a tracked courier. Any questions, just ask.
