Original artwork description:
I painted this following a fall of snow on the north wales mountains.
There has been a frost and a fall of snow the week before and the snow was still settled on the mountains although it had disappeared on the lower plains.
The sun was shining and was producing a beautiful blue hue on the mountain range. I couldn't resist capturing the colours in my sketchbook and then back in my studio.
