This picture was created in the Crimea in Bakhchisarai. In the landscape that I depicted there was no lake, but perhaps it was there many years ago and I saw it. White rocks, blue sky, undersized trees of muted green color - the palette is alluring for the artist. The work is painted with a palette knife with oil paints on canvas.
