Artwork description:

This photo is of the fence and flowers surrounding Botany Pond at the University of Chicago, Main Quadrangle. I live nearby and have often walked through and admired this peaceful scene. Botany pond was originally built as an outdoor research lab by John Coulter, who was the first chair of the botany department at the university. This art is from my Digital Gothic cityscape series that includes digitally altered views of architectural details, including the clock. This artwork is also on view at GACI gallery in Chicago, in a curated group exhibit. It has also been published in Art Takes Times Square, 2013, which included art from a New York exhibit.

My digital art is printed on enhanced matte, archival paper. It is shipped well-protected in a sturdy cardboard tube. If you prefer a larger or smaller size photo please use the message link on the right side of the screen, “Questions for the seller” to contact me. I can also provide prints on canvas.

Materials used:

Enhanced matte, archival paper
