Artwork description:

This is a combination of a linocut print (for the colour matrix) and a hand carved drypoint print, printmaking technique of the intaglio family, in which an image is incised into a plate (or "matrix") with a hard-pointed "needle".

In this particular case I've also used the chine-colle technique printing directly onto 30 grms. rice paper that's afterwards collaged on a 250 grms. Fabriano paper. The rice paper is previously tinted with tea to give it that particular worn-out appearence.

I always use the finest quality materials including archival acid-free printmaking paper and environmentally friendly printing inks.

All my editions are signed and numbered at the base of the image.

As each of these prints is handmade there will be some very slight variation between them.

Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, packed and between two layers of board in a sturdy envelope, and they are dispatched, signed and tracked, within five days (maximum).

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send a message, and thank you very much for taking a look!.

Materials used:

Linocut matrix, etching matrix, acid free printmaking paper with archival quality, printmaking press, Caligo oild based eco-inks, watercoluors, artist's tools skills and imagination
