Artist's description:

Back in 2014 there was a work of installation art at the Tower of London commemorating the outbreak of World War I. Nearly 900,000 ceramic poppies were planted, each representing one of the British or Colonial soldiers killed in the War.

It's estimated that more than 5 million people saw the exhibition, the poignancy of the poppies and the sheer number of them striking a chord with the visitors.

The exhibition was entitled 'Blood swept lands and seas of red' - from a poem written by an unknown soldier.
