The title 'blindfold' indicates what the painting is about: a blindfolded person seems to be groping forward, one hand stretched out in front. It is a situation in which a person gropes forward without using the eyes. Maybe he can see more than before, maybe he's insecure and doesn't dare take a step forward. Isn't it a symbol for a life situation in which we often find ourselves? The delicate oil colors underline the seeker of the movement and open up a wide space.
