These paintings of Wretch32 were inspired by his 2013 hit "Blackout" were the UK rapper talks about the good and bad side to fame, the attention versus the peace and quite.

Blackout I portrays the star soaking it in, absorbing all of the fame and enjoying the moment, where as Blackout II depicts the opposite, Wretch adopts a more withdrawn pose going into the darkness to get away from the flashing lights around him.

One of my favorite lyrics are "Wanna be alive, not just employed" which captures the whole song for me.
