Artist's description:

Topher Essex Original Painting,

Title: "Black square and Red square"

This is my modern take on a painting by Kasimir Malevich (1878-1935). Originally painted in 1915, Malevich is thought of by many as one of the founding fathers of abstract art. This painting is my humble interpretation of his original.

16 X 20 X.5" painting on gallery wrapped (back stapled) stretched canvas.

All canvas' sides will be painted black which puts emphasis on the front of the piece.

This is a one-of-a-kind, original painting. Every piece in my shop is 100% hand painted by me from start to finish.

Must see to appreciate. Many customers state their pieces are much nicer in person than online.
