Birth Of Bacchus (II) looks at the consequences of hedonism. Bacchus is now black and diminished but still able to control the seen just how an addiction diminishes the sufferer but forces them to continue. The Catholic devotee gives birth but the baby is abandoned on the floor. The devote to drunk too care. While the father, the minotaur stands over the devotee also ignoring the baby, penis in hand ready to copulate. The windmill symbolising the circle of addiction and how the scene will play out again and again.
