Artist's description:

Expressionist oil pastel and graphite painting of a birch tree that appears to be embraced by an oak tree - directly done outdoors as the expressionists of old. The image has positive atmosphere - the sun appears to be shining - the trees growing freely. - - - Mostly I sketch, draw and paint directly from nature, in front of a model or object - keeping this practice feeds into my work as a sculptor, printmaker and conceptual artist. Oil pastel is a great medium for the expressionist - graphite adding 3-D effect, is the sculptor coming through. Such an 'oil pastel and graphite object' breathes so much authenticity, having it on the palm of your hand you will feel its preciousness.

The very handy collection format is A6 - 14.9 x 10.5 cm - perforation inclusive. The virtual image is placed upon a white background as to imply a passe-partout or frame. All reasonable efforts are made to provide a good representation of colour, however due to computer monitor limitations, some variation may occur. PLEASE VIEW THE SECOND PHOTO FOR THE ACTUAL WORK that sells unframed. The third photo shows the complete work without perforation - the fourth photo a close up detail, considering that photos cannot fully express the beauty of the actual work. - - - Thanks for clicking 'Favourite' and 'Follow' - and you may like to check one of my social media accounts (via the 'About' section) for more interesting discoveries.
