Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Large oil painting, made beneath a large beech; full spring, sun and soft leaves everywhere. Layers and layers of whorls, spirals and dabs of paint, layers of light and leaves above. The tree is part of the Beech Walk in Colby Woodland gardens, Pembrokeshire. I spent a year painting the gardens in different seasons, weathers and times of day.

Materials used:

Oil on Belgian canvas
