Original artwork description:

Another painting in the series "Hebrides in Another Light". The Hebridean islands have an ethereal beauty even when there are dark clouds overhead. In this painting there are dark clouds but streaked with pink from the reflections of the setting sun. There is a little white washed croft at the edge of the lochan, the white standing out starkly against the dark of the sky and the surrounding machair.

Materials used:

stretched canvas, acrylic paint
