Artist's description:

Harbours are always a source of inspiration with their wide array of shapes and colours and boats which all have their own character and seem to tell a story. I found this scene on a walk around the little harbour of Dysart in Fife, Scotland and decided to paint a painting with the yellow boat as the focus in the foreground and the other boats around it and in the distance to suggest harbour activity. The cloudy sky above the robust harbour wall, painted in sombre colours, are a contrast to the brighter colours of the boats which seem well protected here in their small haven.

This original watercolour painting was painted on 650g, 100% cotton rag, mould-made paper and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist
