Artist's description:

The 100th anniversary of the World War I was commemerated in 2015 and to honour our soldiers I painted this scene. It shows a soldier who writes a loving letter to his wife and children before dawn breaks! He remembers them, looks at his photos, remembers the music he played on the piano and holds his dogtag in his clasped hands. A very moving moment for many!
