Artist's description:

For me, inspiration comes from many places -- the natural world, archaeology, history, science, even cartoons. I love the idea of telling a story in one image.

“Beep Beep” (BB) was born from my love of ancient cultures, as well as my warped sense of humor. I love thinking about the world as it was and then adding a modern twist. BB is an original composition based the Pueblo peoples’ petroglyphs found at La Cieneguilla, New Mexico. The meaning of many petroglyphs is elusive, however the coyote is known as a clever trickster. Roadrunners might represent mental and physical speed and agility. Since both animals are clever, perhaps the speed aspect is simply the reason that the coyote never catches roadrunner.

This piece is finished on the sides so it can be hung unframed.

BB is intended to be a beautiful art piece on its own visual merits, but if you want to pause a moment longer, I hope the image makes you laugh or ponder our world.
