This is one of the last seaside paintings made in 2017. Very much a winters atmosphere, I rather enjoy painting in the mist.
What I like most of these type of scenarios is the mystical nature they bring forth. Not quite knowing what may lay beyond what is visible. Also worth mentioning is the meditative stillness represented in this work, leaving one with tranquil feelings, inducing calmness.
