Artist's description:

At low tide the shallow Holywell River cuts a fresh meandering path across the beach to the open sea. Its granite sand banks continually collapsing into the flow, forcing the river to twist and turn on its journey. In the distance, standing 57m above the mean low water level, Carter’s Rocks, seemly standing guard over the bay.
