I made this collage piece for a Bauhaus Exhibition last year. It was to mark the 100 years since the Bauhaus art school opened their doors.
I took my inspiration from the iconic staircase which are cut free hand with no measuring on my part and the figure to represent Herbert Bayer whose architectural and minimalist approach I really admire.
This has been adhered to 300gsm vintage waterleaf paper that has a deckled edge, which can be seen in the close up.
This does not come framed and pictures are for display purposes.
The frame you see, which if you like can be purchased from Habitat, is called Monro. The art floats between 2 panes of glass, allowing for non standard size works.
Receive this tissue wrapped and sent securely in an envelope box with tracking for peace of mind.
Paper and glue.
