BATTERSEA POWER STATION 2015 B&W NO2
Limited edition 1/150 8"X12"

BY Laura Fitzpatrick

This image was taken on a autumn Sunday morning in 2015 (October 18th). I used the autumn trees branches to frame Battersea power station.

It's wonderful to see these positive changes and I can't wait until the whole site is open to the public.

The Battersea power station site is currently in the development stage of phase 1 apartments which should be opened in October 2016.

You can see the first set of flats to the right of this image.

I love Art deco and Battersea Power Station is definitely one of my favourite buildings of all time.
I love the cemetery and texture of this Art Deco building and how it stands so strong and proud looking over the capital city of London and the homes it used to power.
