BATTERSEA BLUE
2/10
CANVAS

Battersea power station is my favourite Art Deco building in London. I love how the simple but also incredibly striking structure of this building stands so powerfully along the river Thames.

I have also been very lucky to abseil down this amazing building for charity.
I just love the design and structure of this iconic london building.

This image has been created by photographing the building using a black and white film camera. And then scanning the negative film image in to a my computer. I have inverted this image and given it a tint of blue to represent the river Thames.

Battersea Power Station is one of the world’s most famous buildings and is at the heart of Central London’s most visionary and eagerly anticipated new development. Built in the 1930s, and designed by one of Britain’s best 20th century architects, Battersea Power Station is one of London’s most loved and recognisable landmarks.

The canvas has been numbered and signed on the back by myself the artist. All my images are made up of
