On the streets of Barcelona, Spain, this photo was taken using kodak aerochrome infrared film.
Aerochrome reacts to the chlorophyll in the leaves of plants and trees, turning them pink/red. It was originally developed by kodak to use in the war in order to spot out camouflage within densely vegetated areas. The film was discontinued in 2009 due to lack of demand, however a few years ago I managed to acquire some.
This image is printed on C-type Fuji Gloss giving a punchy and rich feel to the image and making the most of its vibrant colours
