And what will happen if we destroy everything? Will there still be a chance for a new life, new beginning for the humanity? The more we ask ourselves such questions, the higher chances are that such surrealistic landscapes, as depicted in this statement artwork, will forever remain to be just a fantasy of the artist.

There is no doubt that science and technologies make our life more comfortable and easier. But in the wrong hands, they also make it easier to destroy everything around us, the world we live in, at least the way it is today. “Bang!” is a series of surrealistic and semi abstract oil paintings by Olena Shtepura where she expresses her vision of a post-apocalyptic world.
