Original artwork description:

The work concentrates on fragmented elements of the bandstands broken, decayed perimeter railings. This discarded building is abandoned, hidden from sight, unsignposted, and not included in any tourist maps or arranged educational trips, yet these buildings record and speak of our culture, heritage and history more sincerely than the elaborate monuments displayed beyond their boundaries.
Using old 12"vinyl records and colours gathered from studies of the surrounding area ,the work is a celebration of the bandstands existence.
