Painted on-site at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Features a group of Azalea bushes in full bloom with hot pink, pink, and peach colored flowers. The background shows the tree trunks of the woods where these azaleas grow, with lush tall grass, and spring green foliage. Touches of iridescent oil paint have been added to the landscape and florescent paint has been used for the blossoms. The blossoms have a thick, impasto texture.
A peaceful and up-lifting scene. Painted in oil on canvas. Framed in a 1.25" composite frame with a mahogany finish and gold inner edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
