Artist's description:

Azalea Flower

A lovely bit of Spring Color that lasts all year long!
Painted in watercolor on watercolor board.* Acid free. Unframed. 8 x 10 inches. Painted out in my yard in Kennesaw, Georgia, on a sunny spring day.

This particular breed of azalea is called "Charles Taber." I transplanted it many years ago into my yard from my Grandmother's neighbor's yard in Thomasville. She was rightfully proud of her beautiful azaleas, and she would scold you if you mispronounced Charles Taber.

Questions or comments are welcome.

* Watercolor board is top quality watercolor paper mounted to a rigid acid-free backing board.
