A while ago we went on holiday to the Yorkshire Dales with the aim of finding as many waterfalls as possible, and we had a lot of lovely walks along the way. One of the waterfalls we visited was the famous Aysgarth Falls which has three sections, and this painting is of the upper end - a very nice place to stop for lunch and enjoy the view and the sound of rushing water.
