This view is from Circular Road, looking along the Avon Gorge towards Brunel's spectacular Clifton Suspension bridge. I am several version into this subject, compelled to paint more by the simplicity of the shapes and opportunity to experiment with wet in wet mixing and the ever-seductive mist over calm water.
