Original artwork description:

It's easy to see why this lake is one of the most popular destinations in Glacier National Park, Montana. The location's serene calm on a warm summer day was the perfect resting place for our final hike in the Park. It was quiet enough to hear the lake's tiny waves lapping the soft, sandy shore, while simultaneously listening to the distant falls cascading down the mountainside. We rested on a fallen tree hearing tunes from songbirds from the surrounding woods near the water's edge. Although sore feet and heavy packs may accompany these ventures, they are all but forgotten when enjoying nature's gentle peace.
