Artist's description:

White Poplar leaf photographed both sides. The leaves of this tree are naturally white and soft on the underside and the fallen ones scattered on the ground seemed a fitting metaphor of the changing season.

Materials used:

Hahnemühle Pearl A slightly textured 285 g.s.m. semi-gloss paper. Holds great detail with punchier colours whilst maintaining an illustrative & painterly feel.

Autumn to winter (2016)
