Artist's description:

I wanted to paint something of the fierce pride of the Cape Breton Scots, the love of fiddle music and the nostalgia for their origins. This composition is based on the Irvine tartan (mine) running away with the music. I wanted to give this an autumnal colouringPainted with freedom and sensitivity.
Oil on Stretched Canvas (90cm x30cm) .
