Artist's description:

Contemporary Expressions using an ancient medium + Encaustic Art !
Encaustic dates back 3 to 5 Thousand years ago - The Romans, Egyptians and Greek used this technique to ornate their ships and caves and mummies! using beeswax, pigments from the earth, fire and the sun to melt the wax -

I paint with molten, pigmented beeswax medium in the encaustic technique using a small electric tacking iron ( it's the 21st century) - I love color and texture and the element of surprise this medium presents me -

I painted Autumn Colors on thick artist card stock - it is unframed and signed on the front
It measures 12x16 inches - the colors are luminous - the strokes vivid and lively -

I will ship in a flat cardboard box - buyer is responsible for eventuelle custom tax -
