This year, the attributes of a new reality invaded our usual life. Because of covid, voluntary-compulsory vaccination has been introduced in many countries, and along with it, tools have been created to monitor this process. QR codes and covid passports are now dividing people on a basis that we could not have imagined a couple of years ago. Now QR is the new VIP, and without it, the usual actions, such as going to a restaurant or going on vacation, are no longer available.

The painting reflects the artist's reaction to the new order of things. The QR code invades right into the center of the picture and interferes with the usual contemplation, just as the new system interferes with living according to the old, familiar rules.

The artwork is made from nature with high quality oil paints on Italian canvas stretched on a subframe, the QR code is also drawn by hand. The canvas has a gallery stretch and painted borders. Unframed, ready to hang.
