Artist's description:

This collage on canvas is titled "At the Drive in Movie". The iconic scene is a fixture in our american past time and pop art culture. The collage was created using authentic black and white books and magazines of that genre. The use of activities, actors and actresses, Hollywood, movies, political movements, known places, and much more are all portrayed. It was in 1933 that Richard Hollingshead opened the first automobile car bound theater in Camden, New Jersey. The canvas is 24" x 18" x 1.5" in depth, four sides painted flat black, archival-matte-sealed finish, wired and ready to hang (unframed). Art work will be shipped in cardboard mailing box. Please contact the artist for a shipping quote if your location isn't listed. Museum quality giclee prints are also available.
