Artist's description:

I was inspired by some ancient stone in the house in which I live. The sunlight was beaming through the windows onto the wall, and I noticed a bull in the stone. Before I knew it, I had sketched a sort of bull fight, something I have always personally loathed. Why should one paint a bull fight when one loathes bull fighting? I can't answer, but I had to. That is the reason I gave it the title Arrogance of Power, because that is what bull fighting is.
