Artist's description:

A "nervous" flyer, I nonetheless jumped at the opportunity to photograph Detroit from the air in a small plane. As the four seater plane bobbed down the runway I held my breath and wondered what the heck I was thinking of and I signed up for this trip. Yet, as we were approaching the City of Detroit, Michigan at 1,200 feet my fears were all forgotten as my camera snapped away.

This photograph was shot in Detroit by a Detroit area photographer, and printed and framed by Detroit area small businesses - making is a 100% Detroit made artwork. It is mounted on MDF board which "floats" 1 inch away from the wall, and sprayed with a UV resistant coating that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Materials used:

Metallic Photo Paper and MDF Board
