I have some sketches and a painting made in this apple tree orchard, and this is the monochrome one, as I imagined the subject in winter.
It is made on pastel special paper, with charcoal of different shades of grey , and, in order to prevent erasing, it has a layer of blown fixative.
The drawing is already fixed with paper glue on a black pass-par-tout (a larger and thicker paper in proportional dimensions with the drawing), so that is ready to be framed. But if you prefer another color for the pass-par-tout, it can be removed and replaced.
However, for artistic reasons and for better keeping and transportation, I consider to be safer to reinforce the drawing this way.
